Portugal is our favorite holiday destination and especially Algarve. Olhao is a very authentic little town with nice restaurants along the boulevard or in the little streets, serving excellent food. From the boulevard little water taxis or ferries bring you to opposite islands with beautiful quiet and sandy beaches. In the center of Olhao you will find the (daily fresh) fish market and a weekly market.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the the apartment. It is well decorated, is very spacious and has all modern facilities. The view from the balcony is magnificent! We certainly will return here and therefore highly recommend this apartment in Olhao

5/5 Stayed Sep 2017 Wonderfully appointed apartment with everything we needed. Sunny west facing balcony, perfect for dining and enjoying the evening sunsets. We enjoyed walks around the Rio Formosa accessible just across the road where you can see flamingoes, spoonbills, egrets etc. Bring some binoculars. Pool on the roof small but perfectly formed with amazing views all round and sun beds available.

Only a 10-15 minute walk to the ferry terminal to go to the islands with their stunning beaches. Plenty of bars and good quality restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. Short taxi ride from the airport so no need for a car unless you want to explore further a field. Warm welcome from the owner very much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in dit appartement. Het appartement is luxueus ingericht en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon is schitterend. Naast de gebruikelijke (ruime!) inventaris is alles aanwezig, van broodrooster tot wasmachine en van koeltas met koelelementen tot boodschappentrolley. Ook hebben we veelvuldig gebruikgemaakt van het (bijna privé) zwembad op het dak. Olhaõ is een gezellig plaatsje en een goede uitvalsbasis voor trips naar de diverse trekpleisters van de Algarve. Het was onze eerste vakantie in Portugal maar we komen zeker terug naar dit appartement!
